Jon and Jenn are friends of ours from Scottsdale. Jon is an INCREDIBLE designer from
Trapdoor Studio. He's also responsible for designing my logo. :-))
We were so honored to be a part of their intimate wedding day.
They got ready at the Valley Ho and had a small ceremony at Trader Vics.

Holy cow! There has been so much going on in my world lately that I don't even know where to begin.
I'll start with the most significant, which was my recent marriage to my Mr. Beloved, second shooter extraordinare, and best friend, Eric, on September 15th in Lake Tahoe. These past 9 months have been such a whirlwind of planning, working, and organizing I've barely had time to think. I definitely have a new understanding of my clients' wedding planning experience, especially when they tell me that their life feels overwhelming. I can now say to them, in complete honesty, that I totally understand where they are coming from. With the time and attention that need to be paid to the details, it was like running another company simultaneously with my own. I was so blessed to have a kick-ass wedding coordinator on our side, Victoria Canada
, who made the ride a little less bumpy and a whole lot more fun.
I will spare you all the details of the day for a post where I can add photos. It's always such a tease, at least for me, to hear about something and not see images. We do have some snapshots taken by our friend who managed to send us a slideshow two days after the wedding (how about that for turnaround time!) Granted, he's not a professional photographer, but his snapshots have helped ease the pain of the 8 week wait until I get to see my pro shots. Following the wedding, we had an extremely brief honeymoon of just under 4 days. More like a mini-moon. In that time, we spent a few magical days at a B&B in Yosemite, and then had to race back home to shoot a wedding the weekend following our own. We decided to postpone our real honeymoon for our slow season and actually take about 10 days off. Plus, it's the rainy season in Costa Rica right now (our honeymoon hotspot) so the wait will be worth it.
